Aerial photos offer a glimpse of a promising rice harvest in Southwest China's Guizhou province as the autumn harvest season gets underway.
In Gui'an New Area, golden paddies spill across the landscape, with villages dotting the fields and distant mountains forming the backdrop.
More than 10,000 mu (666.6 hectares) of rice are nearing maturity and are expected to be harvested mechanically in the coming weeks.
