With the opening of the Palace of Eternal Longevity (Yongshou gong) at the Palace Museum in Beijing, the exhibition Inheritance and Innovation in Official-Style Chinese Architectural Polychrome Painting is now welcoming visitors starting from May 27.
You can explore reproductions and painted samples of iconic architectural paintings from the Sui Dynasty (581-618) to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and discover contemporary artists' designs that reimagine these visual traditions.
