Xiangzhou's key industries honored at Guangdong High-Quality Development Conference

At the 2025 Guangdong Provincial High-Quality Development Conference, three industries from Xiangzhou district, Zhuhai, were honored in the Guangdong's County-level Special Industry Catalogue.

The recognized industries were smart home appliances, office automation and printing consumables, and optoelectronics.

In 2024, Xiangzhou's smart home appliance industry achieved a total output value of 96.6 billion yuan ($13.25 billion). Leading enterprises in this sector include Gree Electric Appliances and Taichuan Cloud Technology. The industry focuses on developing upstream core components like microcontroller units and sensors, as well as midstream terminal products such as cooling and air conditioning equipment and smart kitchen appliances.

The office automation and printing consumables industry in Xiangzhou reported a total output value of 11.07 billion yuan in 2024. Key players include Ninestar, Print-Rite, Quin Technology, and Xprinter. The industry is advancing toward the production of upstream high-end printer components and 3D printing materials, along with midstream high-end printing consumables and complete machine equipment.

Xiangzhou's optoelectronic industry reached a total output value of 9.05 billion yuan in 2024. Representative companies such as Bojay Electronics, Ansjer, Emgo-Tech, and Zhenxiang Technology are driving the sector. The focus areas include upstream raw materials and components, midstream optoelectronic components and equipment, and downstream optoelectronic applications.
