Shanxi delegation submits 9 motions and 265 suggestions

During the third session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC), the Shanxi delegation actively focused on high-quality development, submitting nine motions and 265 suggestions. Among these, eight suggestions were submitted by the delegation as a whole.

The nine motions include the formulation of laws such as the School Safety Law, Low Altitude Economy Industry Promotion Law, Plant Protection Law, and Inheritance Tax Law, as well as amendments to the Traditional Chinese Medicine Law, Food Safety Law, and Social Insurance Law.

The delegation's eight suggestions include supporting Shanxi's deepening of the comprehensive reform pilot for the energy revolution, integrating support for high-quality development between Shanxi and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, applying for the establishment of a free trade pilot zone, and creating a demonstration zone for the inheritance and transformation of Chinese excellent culture.

Among all suggestions, 60 pertain to science, education, health, and sports; 33 relate to development planning and comprehensive economy; 51 concern social and public affairs; 32 involve industry, energy, and investment; and 43 address legal construction and other areas.

The suggestions cover scientific and technological innovation and talent support, rural vitalization and urban construction, ecological protection, and improving people's livelihoods. The congress accepted all suggestions, highlighting the dedication and responsibility of Shanxi's NPC deputies.
