On the rooftop of the factory area of Xinbo Technology Co Ltd in Tianchang, Chuzhou, Anhui province, over 60,000 photovoltaic panels are neatly arranged, converting sunlight into a continuous supply of green electricity. On Feb 25, staff members from the State Grid Chuzhou Power Supply Company visited the company to conduct a power safety inspection of its photovoltaic power generation facilities.
Since the photovoltaic power generation project commenced operations at the beginning of 2024, the enterprise has implemented a win-win model of "self-production for self-consumption, with excess power fed back to the grid". Tang Kaijian, the head of Xinbo Technology, said, "Last year, the company's photovoltaic power generation exceeded 26.93 million kilowatt hours, satisfying not only the daily electricity needs of the enterprise but also generating income through electricity sales, ultimately saving the enterprise over 21.5 million yuan in electricity costs."
Xinbo Technology, a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, production and sales of high-performance aluminum alloy materials, stands as a prime example of green manufacturing in Anhui province. In recent years, as the company has continuously expanded its scale and advanced its green transformation, its electricity demand has steadily increased. To meet the company's need to vigorously develop the photovoltaic industry, Chuzhou Power Supply Company has proactively stepped up its services, offering precise support throughout the entire process, from project filing to grid-connected power generation, thereby assisting the company in achieving its "dual carbon" goals.
At the initial stage of the photovoltaic power generation project, Chuzhou Power Supply Company proactively offered technical consultation to enterprises, assisting in optimizing the project design and ensuring efficient integration between the photovoltaic system and the power grid. To guarantee stable operation after the project was launched, staff regularly conducted on-site inspections of the photovoltaic equipment, analyzed power generation data and offered optimization recommendations. This approach effectively enhanced power generation efficiency, ensuring that the photovoltaic project is not only installable and usable but also generates stable income.
A robust power grid serves as the energy backbone for the high-quality development of the private economy, providing the confidence for enterprises to invest and grow with peace of mind.
Tang Kaijian reflected on Xinbo's five-year development journey with emotion, and said, "Since Xinbo Technology arrived in Chuzhou, the city’s business environment has been exceptional. In 2019, Xinbo's 110 kilovolt substation was commissioned, and in 2022, the 35 kV lines and substation for Xinbo PV's new plant area were put into operation. Both projects received strong support from the power supply company. Their excellent services have reinforced our commitment to green development."
