Established in 1958, the Siping Campaign Memorial Hall is located on the northern side of Yingxiong Plaza in Siping city, Northeast China's Jilin province. It covers an area of 2,700 square meters and is recognized as a national first-class museum, a patriotism education demonstration base, a 4A-level tourist attraction, and one of China's Top 100 Red Tourism Classic Scenic Spots.
The museum's main exhibition, Fighting for the New China, focuses on the historical background and events of the Siping Campaign. The exhibits are divided into thematic sections, including the Preface Hall, Battle History Hall, and a Panoramic Painting Hall. Advanced multimedia technologies, such as immersive 3D and augmented reality, provide visitors with a vivid and engaging experience.
The memorial hall houses a collection of 25,460 artifacts, including 21 first-class relics, 40 second-class relics, and 183 third-class relics. These items document the entire history of the Siping Campaign and include revolutionary artifacts and historical documents.
