Located just 1 kilometer from downtown Daan, Nenjiang Bay covers 3.5 square kilometers and is known as the first bay of the Nenjiang River. This stunning area is home to scenic spots such as Laokanzi Pier, the Liao (916-1125) Emperor's Fish Observation Platform, and Huayi Tongfeng Courtyard.
The park has three main zones: the service area, the Nabo (Liao Emperor's fishing activities) cultural experience area, and the ecological tour zone. The whole tour takes 3-5 hours, or you can take the 2-3 hour sightseeing bus.
Tourists can climb to the Emperor's Fish Observation Platform and imagine the Liao Emperor ice fishing, enjoy panoramic views of Nenxi Lake and Yulong Lake, and immerse themselves in centuries-old fishing and hunting culture. They can wander through Huayi Tongfeng Courtyard, where every building tells the story of Nabo culture. The charming landscape, winding paths, lush flowers, and tranquil waters enhance the experience. Visitors can also take a boat to Nabo Island to explore the culture of the Liao Dynasty further.
Stroll along the Nenjiang River, where the reeds and grass stretch to the horizon. The sounds of frogs and birds fill the air, creating a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere. In the Crane Garden, watch cranes dance and birds flock. A boat trip from Laokanzi Pier offers a perfect view of the river flowing east with a sunset backdrop. Escape the bustle of the city and embrace the natural beauty of Nenjiang Bay.
Nenjiang Bay also features unique attractions like romantic beaches and a pet park. Visitors can enjoy activities like water surfing and beach volleyball and get close to adorable animals like alpacas – perfect for a fun, family-friendly day out.
