Renowned as the "Liquor Province" of China, Guizhou has been celebrated for its rich variety of famous liquors, with Moutai standing out as one of the most prominent. Since September 1998, Zunyi has hosted the Festival of Famous Liquors, an event dedicated to the region’s deep-rooted liquor culture and fostering industry growth.

The festival features a diverse array of activities. The event commences with a grand opening ceremony, followed by a series of splendid artistic performances. Liquor expositions, trade fairs, and ordering meetings provide a platform for industry players to showcase products, exchange ideas, and conduct business transactions. In addition, poetry and liquor cultural exchange activities are held to offer a unique opportunity for attendees to immerse themselves in the harmonious blend of literature and liquor culture. Visitors can also embark on guided tours of the Liquor Culture Museum, the site of the Zunyi Conference, and the magnificent Shizhangdong Waterfall in Chishui.
