Third session of 14th Shanxi Provincial People's Congress concludes

The third session of the 14th Shanxi Provincial People's Congress concluded in Taiyuan on Jan 21, with 525 deputies attending the closing plenary.

The plenary passed resolutions on the Shanxi Provincial Government's work report, the execution of the 2024 Shanxi economic and social development plan and the decision on the 2025 Shanxi economic and social development plan.

In addition, resolutions had been made regarding the execution of the 2024 provincial and provincial-level budgets, decisions on 2025 budgets, and the work reports of the Standing Committee of the Shanxi Provincial People's Congress, the Shanxi Provincial Higher People's Court, and the Shanxi People's Procuratorate.

During the session, all deputies fulfilled their legal duties, actively provided suggestions, conveyed the earnest expectations of the people, and outlined a new blueprint for high-quality development.

Meanwhile, they highly praised Shanxi's economic and social development achievements over the past year, unanimously agreeing that the province had steadfastly promoted high-quality development and deepened its comprehensive transformation, marking a solid step forward in Shanxi's Chinese-style modernization practice.
