Nation's 1st winter sports guarantee system established in Jilin

To promote the high-quality development of the winter economy, the Third Bethune Hospital of Jilin University and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's Key Laboratory of Winter Tourism Resorts Equipment and Intelligent Services Technology jointly organized the Winter Sports Safety Guarantee System Development Forum on Jan 20.

Jilin's winter sports safety guarantee system, the first of its kind in China, covers education, sports, tourism, healthcare, insurance, and other sectors, with more than 360 service entities in total.

The forum, held at the hospital, attracted institutions and experts from various industries related to the winter economy, including healthcare, tourism, sports, equipment, and insurance.

The purpose of the forum was to leverage the collaborative advantages of multiple disciplines and resources, integrate efforts, and create an open platform to advance the safety guarantee system for winter sports.

The forum attracted orthopedic experts from 102 medical institutions in Northeast China and launched the national (Jilin) emergency medical rescue base for winter sports injuries and precision diagnosis and treatment center, providing safety guarantees for winter sports enthusiasts.
