Sanming Shaxian Airport

Sanming Shaxian Airport in Fujian province's Sanming city has expanded its services over the years since it commenced operations on March 7, 2016.

Currently, the airport connects to seven major cities: Kunming, Chongqing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Qingdao, Beijing, and Guangzhou.

In 2023, the airport handled 3,026 flights and served 328,700 passengers, surpassing the 300,000 passenger milestone for the first time.

The airport is located 7.5 kilometers from Sanming North Railway Station and connected to the Fuzhou-Yinchuan Expressway. It features an integrated ground transport network with services from Sanming Bus, Shaxian Bus, and Nanping Bus, ensuring easy access for passengers.

It provides a vital air travel channel for the residents of central Fujian, becoming a crucial component of the modern comprehensive transportation system in Sanming city and Fujian province.
