Longyan Guanzhishan Airport is located in Liancheng county, Longyan city, within the historic revolutionary base area of western Fujian province.
Situated at the intersection of Fujian, Guangdong, and Jiangxi provinces, the airport serves as a vital aerial bridge for external communication in western Fujian. It plays an increasingly significant role in promoting the region's socio-economic development.
The airport officially commenced operations on April 25, 2004, becoming the 36th civil transport airport in the East China region. Its establishment filled a crucial gap in civil aviation for Longyan city.
Since its opening, Longyan Guanzhishan Airport has launched several routes, including Liancheng-Shenzhen, Liancheng-Xiamen, Liancheng-Fuzhou, Liancheng-Shanghai, Shenzhen-Liancheng-Wuyishan, Shenzhen-Liancheng-Hangzhou, Liancheng-Fuzhou-Beijing, Beijing-Wuhan-Liancheng, Chengdu-Guilin-Liancheng, and Kunming-Liancheng-Nanjing. Currently, the airport serves cities such as Beijing, Wuhan, Foshan, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guilin, Kunming, and Nanjing.
