The Northeast China Tiger and Leopard Culture International Communication Center, Jilin province's fourth provincial-level international communication hub, was launched on Jan 6 during the inaugural China (Jilin) True Image Conference.
The center, jointly established by Jishi Media Co and the Northeast China Tiger and Leopard National Park Administration, uses advanced technology to protect and monitor the park's ecosystem. Jishi Media has invested over 100 million yuan ($13.64 million) to develop an integrated "sky-earth" monitoring system, deploying thousands of infrared cameras, communication bases, and AI-driven wildlife and forest surveillance software. This innovative approach facilitates real-time data collection and analysis, including individual identification of wild Siberian tigers.
The center aims to enhance global awareness of Northeast China's ecological treasures. It has already established a strong presence on international and domestic social platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, Douyin, and Kuaishou. Collaborations with influencers and major media outlets have further amplified its reach. Through live streaming, short videos, and international partnerships, the center is building a multi-dimensional communication network, positioning itself as a window into Jilin's natural beauty and China's ecological progress.
