Longxing Ancient Town, having been partially renovated, reopened for trial operations on Dec 31, 2024, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in its rich heritage and culture.

Offering a unique journey through time, the town welcomes the New Year with a fresh perspective through activities such as strolling along its old streets, savoring local delicacies, and enjoying traditional folk performances.

Boasting over 600 years of history, the town is a treasure trove of ancient architecture and cultural heritage. Its old streets, ancient temples, forts, and ancestral halls showcase a variety of styles that are both rustic and elegant.

A notable highlight of the renovation is the transformation of the town's old temple into the Residents' Memory Museum. This innovative space uses artifacts, exhibitions, and videos to recreate the town's origins, document its renovation journey, and preserve the living memories of its longtime residents.

Eighteen businesses have already been established in the town, contributing to a vibrant atmosphere. From Jan 1 through the Spring Festival, the town will offer a series of attractions, including vibrant red lanterns, auspicious couplets, lively stages, and parades celebrating happiness, prosperity, longevity, joy, and wealth.
