Jilin shines at World Ice and Snow Economy Conference

The second World Ice and Snow Economy of Cold Regions Conference opened on Dec 19 in Jilin city, Northeast China's Jilin province. Under the theme "Prosper the Ice and Snow Economy, Join Hands for a Win-Win Future", the event aims to foster international collaboration, innovative industry partnerships, and new consumption opportunities in the ice and snow economy.

Jilin province boasts exceptional ice and snow tourism resources, with pristine powder snow, breathtaking landscapes, and a rich cultural heritage. Home to world-class ski resorts, including five national ski destinations, Jilin leads in total ski trail length and aerial cableway facilities nationwide. These advantages position the province as a hub for winter sports and tourism, attracting enthusiasts from across the globe.

Attendees will participate in events such as the "Invest in Jilin" Cold Region Economy Matchmaking Conference, meetings to advance the "Ice and Snow Silk Road", and the "Changbai Mountain, A Wonderland of Snow" tourism festival.

The conference also unveiled the English version of the China Ice and Snow Economic Development Index Report.
