With temperatures plunging in Togtoh county, Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the Yellow River has frozen over, offering breathtaking views and drawing crowds of tourists and photographers.

The river resembles a silver dragon from above, its ice-covered surface glistening in the sunlight. Some sections appear smooth as glass, while others are layered and textured, creating a stunning natural masterpiece.

"I visit the Yellow River every season, but the frozen landscape in winter is truly awe-inspiring. It's a magnificent gift from nature," shared a photographer from Hohhot.

Local authorities, including the water resources and emergency management bureaus, have enhanced patrols and safety measures to monitor the ice formation and ensure public safety.
