On Dec 6, the first China-Europe freight train departed Changzhi, North China's Shanxi province, heading for Moscow, Russia, loaded with domestic-brand automobiles.

This marks the inaugural departure of a China-Europe freight train from Changzhi and the first operation of a China-Europe freight train in Southeast Shanxi. It is also the first China-Europe freight train launched in the province by the China Railway Zhengzhou Group.

The Changzhi to Moscow China-Europe freight train, organized by Huayuan International Land Port, departed from the Changzhibei Changtie Green Energy Logistics Park, which is under the jurisdiction of the China Railway Zhengzhou Group. After traveling over 8,000 kilometers, it will ultimately reach the Bely Rast Station in Moscow, Russia.

Huayuan International Land Port is collaborating with China Railway Zhengzhou Group, China Railway Container Transportation Co, and Shougang Changzhi Iron and Steel Co to establish a hub for China-Europe freight trains in the province. With robust support from Shanxi departments, Taiyuan Customs, and the Changzhi government, more "Made in Shanxi" products will be promoted abroad.

Huayuan International Lugang Group has garnered support from three railway bureaus in Taiyuan, Beijing, and Zhengzhou. It has launched 23 routes from multiple locations in the province, forming a service network for international freight trains that reaches 48 major cities in 16 countries.
