Exploring Dehui's thriving sectors: Focus on food, innovation

The Changchun Media Tour brought national and overseas media representatives to Dehui city in Jilin province – recognized for its dynamic industries and agricultural excellence.

The delegation visited leading enterprises, including Jilin Dali Foods Group, a central kitchen supply chain project, Dexiang Yiyu Hatchery Center and Songjiang Baishun Rice Industry Co.

Located in central Jilin, Dehui spans 3,322 square kilometers and is renowned as the "City of Food", the "Home of High-Quality Komachi Rice" and the "Land of Broiler Chickens".

It's home to 62 large-scale industrial enterprises and 77 city-level leading enterprises, with a robust presence in food processing, modern logistics and in advanced manufacturing.

In 2023, Dehui led Changchun – capital of Jilin province – in multiple economic indices, consolidating its position as a regional economic powerhouse.

Among the highlights of the media tour, Jilin Dali Foods showcased its state-of-the-art facilities which produce over 560 varieties of snacks and beverages.

The company's innovative aseptic tea production line, launched in March 2024, is said to exemplify its commitment to growth and quality.

Songjiang Baishun Rice Industry, a national key enterprise, demonstrated its advanced rice processing capabilities, that handle 800 metric tons of rice daily. The company's integration of agriculture and international trade underlines Dehui's expanding global reach.

The visit emphasized Dehui's role in advancing sustainable industries and innovation, while reinforcing its agricultural heritage.
