In August this year, the State Grid Xuancheng Power Supply Company completed the on-site inspection and access scheme design for the first batch of nine sites in Guangde, with plans to install 30 new 120 kW DC fast-charging stations. This time, the Changlu New Energy Parking Lot charging station is equipped with five 120 kW integrated DC charging stations, which can meet the simultaneous charging needs of 10 new energy vehicles.
Ye Tan, the general manager of the local power supply company, stated that the aim of promoting "full coverage" of charging facilities is to alleviate the public's "anxiety about energy replenishment" and enable them to genuinely appreciate the convenience brought by the construction of charging facilities.
The rapid development of charging infrastructure is accelerating the expansion of new energy vehicles into more scenarios, spanning from cities to villages, and from scenic spots to service areas. This expansion is not just about increasing the number of vehicles, but more importantly, it's about technological upgrading. In Guangde, the technological transformation of charging facilities and the implementation of intelligent mobile charging robots in the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway service area have boosted the charging efficiency of the service area by five times.
The "dense-coverage" charging and swapping facilities enable new energy vehicles to shine in more fields. While providing strong support for the low-carbon transformation of transportation, they also contribute to the construction of health care bases in the Yangtze River Delta and the development of industries such as culture and tourism. According to statistics, there have been 3,658 electricity installation applications for new energy vehicle charging posts in Guangde, including about 95 public charging stations and about 620 charging posts, an increase of 150.07 percent over the previous year.
