The Aerospace Information Industry Talents Development Conference will be held from Nov 23 to 24 in Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing.

The conference aims to use talent as a driving force to promote the in-depth integration of the aerospace information industry with intelligent new energy vehicles, the low-altitude economy, satellite and commercial space, new materials, and the modernization of mega-city governance.

The conference boasts a rich agenda, including the release of the Liangjiang New Area Aerospace Information Industry High-Quality Development Action Plan and the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle Aerospace Information Industry Urgently Needed Talent Directory.

Important policies and research findings will also be unveiled. The Chongqing Excellence Engineer (Aerospace Information) Training Alliance will be established, with over 10 member units such as the Chongqing University of Technology and the Harbin Institute of Technology Chongqing Research Institute receiving plaques on-site. Several talent and project representatives will also participate in a signing ceremony.

The event will feature keynote speeches from four distinguished guests, including Wang Jiagong, director of the National University of Singapore (Chongqing) Research Institute. They will discuss talent-driven integration of the aerospace information industry with the new materials industry, share cutting-edge ideas, new perspectives, and innovative concepts, and contribute to constructing a modernized new Chongqing.

On Nov 24, attendees will tour the Chongqing Modern Manufacturing Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Port and the Innovation Center NPU Chongqing, which facilitate talent and project matchmaking.

Liangjiang is now the backbone of Chongqing's efforts to build a 100-billion-yuan ($13.81 billion) aerospace information industry cluster. Over 90 percent of the city's aerospace information industry projects are located in this area.

China Satellite Network Group Co, Chongqing Kingsley Aeronautical Materials Technology Co, and China Express have gathered here, creating a significant cluster and providing a solid platform for developing industry talent.
