SGS-CSTC Standard Technical Services (Chongqing) Co in Liangjiang New Area has been recognized as a national high-tech enterprise. 

This designation is one of China's most authoritative assessments of a company's comprehensive technological capabilities. Its stringent criteria include the number of independently owned core technologies, the strength of the R&D team, organizational management capabilities, and the ability to transform scientific and technological achievements. 

"This recognition is not only an acknowledgment of our technological prowess but also a high affirmation of our continuous innovation capabilities," said a representative from SGS Chongqing.

The representative added that the company plans to continue increasing its investment in R&D and green technology development, establish a scientific and technological achievements management system, strengthen industry-academia-research cooperation, and set up special funds to support the transformation and application of outstanding technological achievements. 

SGS Standard Technical Services Co was jointly established by the SGS Group and the China Standard Technology Group in 1991. SGS Chongqing, based in the city since 2002, established its subsidiary in Liangjiang in 2021, which serves as its Western Headquarters. The company extends its services from this base to provinces such as Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan. 

SGS Chongqing employs over 300 professionals and offers services across automotive parts, new energy, chemical materials, agricultural products and food, natural resources, environmental monitoring, construction engineering, and electronic and electrical products.
