The themed tourism promotional event "Crossing a Thousand Years, Appreciating the Splendor of Huashan Mountain; Encountering Huaqing, Dreaming of the Prosperous Tang Dynasty" was recently held by Huaqing Palace and Huashan Mountain West Peak Cableway across five major cities, namely, Zhengzhou in Henan province, Nanjing in Jiangsu province, Changsha in Hunan province, Chengdu in Sichuan province, and Guangzhou in Guangdong province.
The event invited travel agencies nationwide to recommend Huaqing Palace's rich Tang Dynasty cultural charm and the magnificent natural scenery of the Huashan Mountain West Peak Cableway to travelers across China, allowing them to experience the unique cultural and scenic beauty of Shaanxi.
This event marked the first collaboration between Huaqing Palace and Huashan Mountain West Peak Cableway. Over 18 days, it hosted more than 200 travel agencies and media representatives from various regions.
The Huaqing Palace scenic area, located in Lintong district, Xi'an city, Shaanxi province, is a national 5A-grade tourist attraction built upon the ruins of the Tang Dynasty Huaqing Palace. The scenic area comprises the Huaqing Pool and Lishan Mountain.
The Huashan Mountain West Peak Cableway, situated in the Huashan Mountain scenic area of Huayin, Weinan city, Shaanxi province, stretches 4,211 meters with a height of 894 meters. Featuring 28 supports and 84 passenger cabins, the cableway allows visitors convenient access to Huashan Mountain’s main peak area. From there, they can admire the beauty of the western peak, the steepness of the southern peak, the grandeur of the eastern peak, the legends surrounding the central peak, and the magnificence of the northern peak—saving energy and time.
Nie Qinglin, deputy general manager of Huaqing Palace, said that through the joint promotion of Huaqing Palace and Huashan Mountain West Peak Cableway, they look forward to working together with B-end clients to reveal the boundless allure of Shaanxi and local tourism. Together, they are crafting high-quality tourism routes in Shaanxi, allowing tourists nationwide to experience the premium offerings of Huaqing Palace and to journey back to the prosperous Tang Dynasty.
An on-site travel agency manager commented that this promotion has provided a fresh perspective on Huaqing Palace and Huashan Mountain West Peak Cableway.
Following the promotional event, local travel agencies in Guangzhou have reportedly organized tour groups to visit Huaqing Palace in November, allowing visitors to experience the Tang Dynasty gardens and ancient charm.
Meanwhile, 50 local travel agencies in Nanjing are planning a visit to Huaqing Palace at the end of November to scout the route.
