The Yangtze Automobile Chain Platform 3.0 was launched on Nov 12 in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ).
The new version significantly overhauls both the technological architecture and functional design. Using an AI big data engine, the platform is transitioning from a traditional "yellow pages inquiry" model to a more internet-centric "comprehensive e-commerce" platform, thereby enhancing cost efficiency and operational effectiveness for enterprises within the supply chain.
The platform integrates a complete Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system, enabling enterprises to digitize their entire upstream procurement and supplier relationship management processes.
The platform also features an industrial procurement marketplace, offering both spot and inquiry-based products for industrial standard parts and service capabilities. A blockchain-based supply chain transaction platform has also been established to ensure the authenticity, traceability, and immutability of transaction data, while providing encrypted protection for sensitive data related to new product development and new technologies.
Moreover, the new version boasts an intelligent recommendation system that analyzes user behavior and profiles to provide precise matching services for both the supply and demand sides.
During the launch event, several companies and platforms, including Eman Technology and Hubei United Investment Supply Chain, signed agreements with the platform.
The platform currently has nearly 20,000 registered users and over 17,000 resident enterprises, collecting nearly 25,000 user demands and completing 299 demand matches. It has gathered detailed information on the suppliers of over 100 popular vehicle models, promoting sharing and resource complementarity between vehicle manufacturers and parts suppliers.
