'Traditional Chinese medicine street' opens new part in Xiangzhou

On Aug 31, Zhuhai Traditional Chinese Medicine Street (West Street) opened at Yuanming New Park in Xiangzhou district. Opening day saw nearly 20,000 visitors.

Located in one of Zhuhai's first 4A scenic spots, Yuanming New Park, West Street integrates classical Chinese gardens with traditional Chinese medicine culture, covering over 150,000 square meters.

The street features renowned TCM brands such as Tongrentang, Guangyuyuan and Wong Lo Kat, offering a range of TCM products, herbal teas, and health foods, as well as services like foot baths, herbal baths, steam therapy, and beauty treatments.

Additionally, the introduction of trendy health options like "TCM health tea" and "health coffee" are welcomed by younger demographics, making TCM health fashionable.

Various activities will also be held, including exhibitions on the history and culture of TCM, biographies of famous physicians, and various types of Chinese herbs. A diverse array of events like the Eight Section Brocade exercise, traditional Chinese cultural performances, and night runs will be organized as well.
