From July 13 to 15, over 1,000 tourists from 11 regions and eight countries including China's Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Thailand, and more, spent a delightful weekend in Sanya, Hainan. This marks the largest inbound tourist group that Hainan has seen in recent years.

"Hainan is truly a paradise!" Although this was the first time Hong Kong tourist Zhang Yuemei visited Hainan, she couldn't hide her love for the island: "My husband and I arrived in Sanya a week early, and we both love Hainan very much! The weather, environment and air quality here are all excellent, and the people of Hainan are very hospitable. I don't want to leave here."

The tour group was organized by the Italian insurance company Generali Group as a reward travel inbound group. Steve Fuller, a representative of Generali Group, said that Hainan boasts beautiful natural scenery and excellent hotel facilities, coupled with convenient conditions such as visa-free policies for 59 countries, making traveling to Hainan both convenient and comfortable.

"We provided personalized and customized services for the inbound group in aspects such as immigration at the border, hotel reservations, accommodation and dining, duty-free shopping, and more," revealed a representative from the China Tourism Group's Hainan Regional Headquarters, the receiving party of this inbound group. The group's spending in Hainan exceeded 5 million yuan ($689,000), and with additional spending on duty-free shopping, dining, tourist attractions, and transportation, it is expected that the group's total consumption in Hainan will surpass 10 million yuan.

Recently, "China Travel" has gained popularity on global social media platforms. On July 15, the number of ports where China's 144-hour transit visa exemption policy applies increased to 37, benefiting the development of inbound tourism. In Hainan, the gradual release of the effects of expanding the policy for visa-free entry for citizens of 59 countries has led to successive waves of inbound tourism.
