The eighth International MBA/EMBA Desert Trail endurance and exploration walk was held on June 8-10 in the Ulan Buh Desert of Alshaa League, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

This year's event featured 40 teams doing Master of Business Administration, or MBA and Executive Master of Business Administration or EMBA degree courses at business schools from across the country and abroad.

The International MBA/EMBA Desert Trail is an event specifically designed to best and bond fellow MBA and EMBA students and business elites worldwide.

Since its inception in 2015, it has promoted the values of "connection, discovery and breakthrough," attracting over 5,500 participants from more than 100 institutions.

The two-day, 50-kilometer course included diverse terrains such as desert, mudflats, the Yellow River, oases, roads and wetlands. Participants enjoyed the pristine waters of the Yellow River, the rolling sand dunes and the unique blend of desert and wetland oases.

The route took them deep into the desert, where they encountered towering pyramidal dunes, grid dunes, crescent-shaped dunes and dune chains – immersing them in the sometimes wild, at other times and tranquil beauty and wonders of nature.

The Desert Trail is said to continue to be a beacon for fostering innovation, growth and social connections among the next generation of business leaders.
