Shanxi works with Tianjin to go global

Since the beginning of this year, North China's Shanxi province has been working with Tianjin to further open up to the outside world. By holding a series of major events, it has paved the way for enterprises to go global and provided a platform for Shanxi enterprises to showcase and exchange ideas.

On Feb 26, Shanxi and the Tianjin officially signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement, not only deepening cooperation between the two regions, but also increasing their openness to the outside world.

On April 9, the Wusu Comprehensive Free Trade Zone Service Center of Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone signed a cooperation framework agreement with Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, which opened a new sea route that will help Shanxi expand abroad and make it easier for enterprises in the two regions to cooperate with each other.

On May 10, the Shanxi-Tianjin "Going Global" Strategic Alliance Cooperation and Exchange Conference was held, during which the Shanxi Enterprise "Going Global" Strategic Cooperation Alliance and the Tianjin "Going Global" Cooperation Platform signed a strategic cooperation agreement. This means the companies in the two regions will further strengthen cooperation and exchanges and jointly explore new development paths.

In recent years, Taiyuan Customs and Tianjin Customs have also strengthened cooperation. By establishing a cooperation mechanism, they have conducted in-depth exchanges and cooperation in areas such as smoothing international logistics channels, supporting high-quality construction of opening-up platforms, and promoting high-quality development of advantageous industries. This not only improves Shanxi's customs clearance and regulatory efficiency for imported goods, but also promotes the foreign trade development of Shanxi enterprises.
