The second Yunnan University Digital Economy Development Forum was held at the Chenggong Campus of Yunnan University in Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province, on May 17. The event was titled "Empowering New Quality Productive Forces with Digital Economy".
Zhang Wei, deputy secretary of the CPC Yunnan University Committee, attended the event and delivered a speech. Officials from the Kunming data bureau, representatives from 29 related enterprises, and delegates from the alumni associations of 11 public undergraduate universities in Kunming, including Yunnan University, participated in the forum.
The forum invited experts and scholars in the fields of digital economy, economic management, and electronic information, along with industry representatives. It featured two parallel sessions, respectively titled "Interdisciplinary Integration Promoting Digital Economy Development" and "Collaborative Innovation Among Government, Industry, Academia, and Research Promoting Development of New Quality Productive Forces".
Additionally, during the event, an expert roundtable was held to discuss opportunities and challenges in the development of Yunnan's digital economy and new quality productive forces.
During the roundtable, participants discussed the promotion of cooperation among government bodies, universities, research institutions, and industrial parks, thereby fostering the development of new quality productive forces.
