Alshaa League launches China Tourism Day celebrations

The main event for the 2024 China Tourism Day in Alshaa League kicked off on May 19 at the Wetland Cultural Park in Ejine Banner – located in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. 

The opening ceremony featured vibrant performances by the Ejine Banner Ulan Muqir, captivating the audience with their artistic displays.

To recognize excellence in the tourism industry, awards were presented to the representatives of notable tourism enterprises – including the Grassland Star Ejine Tourism Train, 5C Self-Driving Campsites, 4A Travel Agencies and 4A Tourist Attractions, among others.

The event also included presentations on Ejine Banner's aerospace tourism resources, exhibitions of Alshaa gifts and displays from scenic spots, hotels and travel agencies. Visitors were able to explore handmade products from Ejine's intangible cultural heritage and sand industry products.

One visitor, Zhao Qian, expressed strong enthusiasm. "I enjoyed the performances and the rich variety of tourism products. I can't wait to start my journey through Alshaa," Zhao added.

In the afternoon, tourists visited old streets, the Juyanhai scenic area and Ceke Port to experience the natural beauty and cultural charms of Alshaa League.

In addition, Alshaa has launched 41 cultural tourism activities, including competitions, educational tourism events and cultural benefits.

The goal is to attract visitors from all over to experience the unique cultural tourism resources of Alshaa. Moving forwards, plans are for Alshaa to continue to explore the potential of the cultural tourism industry, enrich its offerings and promote sustainable, high-quality development in tourism.
