The Ningxia (Shizuishan) Inland Port under the Shandong Port Group (SPG) was officially inaugurated at the Pingluo freight station in Shizuishan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, on April 28. The first "Ningxia Shizuishan-SPG Qingdao Port" sea-rail intermodal train service was also launched at the same time. This initiative by SPG, which has established 47 inland ports and opened 97 sea-rail intermodal train services, aims to support the high-quality economic development of Ningxia.

Together with the well-known "coal-mining city" of Shizuishan, SPG has been actively expanding external opening channels and accelerating the construction of a modern circulation system to establish an efficient outbound shipping channel.

Taking advantage of the Ningxia (Shizuishan) Inland Port, the logistics group has collaborated with Qingdao Port to provide tailored logistics solutions for customers. Goods exported from Ningxia can be containerized at the inland port and transported via the "Ningxia Shizuishan-SPG Qingdao Port" sea-rail intermodal train service to Qingdao Port for direct shipment, reducing logistics time by approximately 40 percent.

The establishment of the logistics network in Shizuishan has significantly improved the outbound shipping channel for goods from Shizuishan and surrounding areas. Moving forward, SPG is poised to continue to deepen cooperation with the Ningxia Hui autonomous region, explore new cooperation models, expand into new business areas, promote the upgrade of inland port functions, and ensure the regular operation of sea-rail intermodal train services to provide enterprises in Ningxia with broader market opportunities and more development prospects.
