Shanxi to further cooperation with Huawei

Governor of Shanxi province Jin Xiangjun held a work meeting with Liang Hua, chairman of Huawei Technologies Co, on April 2 to discuss deepening practical cooperation in various fields and accelerating the cultivation and development of new quality productive forces.

Jin expressed gratitude to Huawei for its strong support in Shanxi's development and briefly introduced the province's progress in the energy and digital economy sectors.

In recent years, Shanxi has implemented a new strategy for energy security, established a new energy system, and promoted industrial transformation. The province has been driving industrial advancements with technological innovation, focusing on the layout of industrial chains and innovative chains for the development of new quality productive forces. It has also improved its digital infrastructure, promoted the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy, and encouraged the development of its digitized industrial clusters.

Jin expressed his hope that Huawei will increase its investment and presence in Shanxi so as to ensure the development of the digital economy. He also encouraged the company to expand its cooperation range into fields such as digital governance, technological innovation, smart cities, and intelligent mining.

Liang Hua gave a brief overview of the company's development plans, the progress of Huawei's global mining headquarters in Shanxi, and the development of its digital energy technology.
