Hainan international film festival holds closing ceremony

The fifth Hainan Island International Film Festival held its closing ceremony on Friday evening in Sanya, South China's tropical island province of Hainan.

The festival's lineup of events included an opening ceremony, the Golden Coconut Awards competition, film screenings, forums, master classes and the Coconut Carnival. Various film screenings were held across the province in the cities of Sanya, Haikou, Danzhou, Ledong, Lingshui, and Wuzhishan throughout the event.

The festival offered diverse cinematic experiences, various cultures and film styles. It aims to celebrate the art of filmmaking, and foster a global community of creative collaboration.
