A batch of cross-border e-commerce goods from Zhengzhou recently arrived at Taiyuan Wusu International Airport and were subsequently exported to the United States after being inspected and released by Taiyuan airport customs.

This marked the first shipment of cross-border e-commerce goods from Zhengzhou to Taiyuan Wusu International Airport, opening up a new channel for such exports in Shanxi.

"We have coordinated and discussed with the Zhengzhou New Area customs multiple times, and finally completed the integration of cargo and information flows between businesses and freight stations. This has realized the electronic supervision of the entire process, including port exit, and the smooth operation of the entire business process," said Wang Chunxia, head of the inspection and quarantine division of Taiyuan airport customs.

Since the beginning of this year, Taiyuan airport customs has explored new ways of supervising cross-border e-commerce export transfer, focusing on supporting the expansion of such export channels and the integration of airline resources.

"The new cross-border e-commerce export channel has played an active role in promoting the improvement of the hub function of Taiyuan Wusu International Airport," said Song Wei, deputy chief of Taiyuan airport customs.
