A winter tourism promotion event titled "Discovering Shandong, Enjoying Winter Fun" was held at the Beijing Exhibition Center on Nov 10, during which winter-themed products from Shandong were unveiled and the province's unique winter tourism resources were showcased, displaying the charm of "Friendly Shandong".

The activity was part of the "Friendly Shandong, Remarkable Shandong" event, which is being held from Nov 10 to 12 in Beijing, showcasing Shandong's renowned brands, high-tech products, specialties, handicrafts and picturesque landscapes.

During the activity, officials from the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism introduced four winter travel routes, which integrate unique tourism products such as sightseeing, ice and snow sports, hot spring tours, countryside tours, folk customs exploration and local cuisine, aiming to create a distinctive winter tourism experience for visitors in Shandong.

Performances, such as rap, singing and dancing, skits, and Shandong kuaishu - a traditional Chinese story-telling art that originated in Shandong province more than 200 years ago - were staged during the activity to introduce Shandong's featured winter tourism products and quality services, creating a lively and warm atmosphere.
