More than 450 enterprises will participate in an international digital economy expo that will be held in Shijiazhuang, the capital city of North China's Hebei province from Sept 6 to Sept 8.

The companies include Tesla, Siemens, State Grid, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Huawei, Alibaba and Tencent, according to Hebei Daily.

The China International Digital Economy Expo 2023 will focus on the development of the industrial internet, for which a core exhibition area will showcase new technologies, products, and applications in multiple aspects, including industrial internet platforms, network identification resolution, edge computing, industrial intelligence and digital twins.

The expo boasts a total exhibition area of about 60,000 square meters, including 10,000 sq m in outside space.

Exhibiting companies will bring a collection of "black technology" products to the expo, empowering new scenarios for smart applications and providing visitors with a feast of cutting-edge technology experiences.

During the expo, an opening ceremony, forums and international cooperation activities will be held, and a number of major achievements in the field of industrial internet will be released.

At the opening ceremony of the expo, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will release a list of the country's cross-industry and cross-domain industrial internet platforms for 2023.

During the forums, the Chinese Academy of Sciences will announce 100 of the latest achievements in digital economic and technological innovation.
