18th Changchun Film Festival opens in Jilin

The 18th Changchun Film Festival opened in Changchun, capital city of North China's Jilin province, on Aug 28, with 15 films, including Full River Red and The Wandering Earth II, vying for the prestigious Golden Deer Award.
Renowned director, screenwriter, and producer Huang Jianxin serves as the chairman of the award jury, marking his second time holding this significant position.
Changchun, the birthplace of the Chinese film industry, established the Changchun Film Festival in 1992, which has now become a renowned international cultural event in the film arena.
More than 30 remarkable films will be showcased during the festival as part of the international film exhibition. Additionally, the sixth China Film New Power Forum and a seminar on the film and television industry will be held.
As the chief partner of this edition of the Changchun International Film Festival, Hongqi is responsible for providing officially designated vehicles. The Hongqi HS7 and Hongqi H9 will offer high-quality and comprehensive car services for the esteemed guests.
