Summer World University Games volunteers praised

After working for one month, volunteers for the Registration Center of the Organizing Committee of the 31st Summer World University Games in Chengdu, Sichuan province, have been praised.

The volunteers have been competent, working tirelessly and efficiently to assist the production and verification of the personnel identity registration cards and vehicle certificates of the Games, said Luo Bintan, deputy director of the center.

An important component of the registration of personnel and vehicles and the production and management of certificates for the Games, the center witnessed the arrival of 49 volunteers on June 19.

The volunteers are responsible for assisting the center to complete the quality inspection of certificates, including data and appearance acceptance and finished product storage.

As a microcosm of the 20,000 volunteers of the Games, they work hard in the assembly line, fully presenting the volunteer spirit  with  youthful energy and smiling faces.

Li Qianjia, a volunteer majoring in network and new media at Chengdu University, believes that volunteering in the center has made her fully appreciate the power of teamwork.

Volunteers did not know each other before, but quickly got acquainted and worked closely with each other, greatly improving work efficiency, she said.
