Health care industry gets a boost in Shanxi

The Shanxi Department of Culture and Tourism recently announced a list of first demonstration areas for cultural, tourism and healthcare development in North China's Shanxi province.

These areas are distributed in the cities of Taiyuan, Datong, Shuozhou, Xinzhou, Jinzhong, Jincheng, Linfen, and Yuncheng. 

In recent years, Shanxi has given full play to its resources and continuously increased the supply of cultural tourism products, while also cultivating leading enterprises in the field of cultural tourism and healthcare. 

The province will next promote the construction of 50 demonstration areas for cultural, tourism and healthcare development, and build cultural, tourism and healthcare industrial clusters in Jinyuan district in Taiyuan, Mount Wutai, the counties of Hunyuan, Youyu, Pingyao, Yuxian, Lingchuan, and Hongtong, and Yanhu district in Yuncheng.
