The Xuelang Mountain Park in Binhu district, Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, opened to the public on May 12, local media outlets reported.
The park contains five zones for environmental protection, cultural experience, plant admiring, cultural entertainment, and environmental recreation, respectively.

The park has also launched two travel routes connecting the main scenic spots in the park and featuring lavender and local culture such as zhuangyuan – candidates who took the top place in annual national-level recruitment exams for officials in ancient China – and tea culture.

The park's 200 mu (13.33 hectares) of lavender flowers is a must-see spot where vast stretches of flowers sway in the breeze.
In the following months, the park will feature Chinese roses, Galsang flowers, vervain flowers, lotus flowers, and peonies.
