Li Zhongzeng, head of Alshaa League in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, met with a Mongolian delegation led by Ch Tavinjil, director-general of the Administration Department of the Ministry of Finance of Mongolia, on May 13.

The Mongolian delegation visited Wujili Port in the league.

Li extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He said that in recent years, Sino-Mongolian relations have continued to deepen and expand, and the exchanges between Alshaa League and Mongolia's South Gobi province have increased.

The Tsagaandel-Uul Port Project aided by China is seen as an open bridgehead and international channel involved in the Belt and Road Initiative and the "China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor".

Alshaa League will fully cooperate with Mongolia to promote the completion and customs clearance of the port.

After the meeting, the two sides held a signing ceremony for the overall development planning and regional planning consultation service contract of the Tsagaandel-Uul Port Project.
