Products from North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region drew much attention at a matchmaking activity for national branded, premium and new agricultural products. The event was held in Qingdao city in East China's Shandong province, on April 20.
It is understood that the matchmaking activity was jointly organized by the Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Center, which is part of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the China Meat Association.
This event showcased new, branded, and premium products from all over the country. This event was an important measure to cultivate the brands of local characteristic agricultural products.

Around 150 kinds of agricultural products by more than 200 Inner Mongolia-based enterprises were exhibited. Among them were delicious beef and mutton, dairy products, healthy rice noodles, grains and oils, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables.
According to statistics, since the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs started the collection and registration of its list of new, branded, and premium agricultural products, the number of such kinds of agricultural products in Inner Mongolia reached 551, ranking second in the country in total.
The number of Inner Mongolian producers using the new, branded, and premium agricultural product logo has reached 1,035.
Additionally, during the event, the Baotou agriculture and animal husbandry bureau signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Qingdao agricultural and rural affairs bureau.
