Shanxi invites overseas Chinese to share in development opportunities

The 2023 Overseas Chinese (Hongtong) Economic and Trade Exchange Conference, hosted by the Shanxi Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, was held in Hongtong county, North China's Shanxi province, on April 5.
A total of 50 overseas Chinese from countries and regions including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and France gathered in Hongtong to carry out economic and trade exchanges with local entrepreneurs and discuss development.
At the conference, a signing ceremony for friendly agreements between the Shanxi Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and Yangtze River Delta Overseas Chinese Innovation Alliance; Shanxi Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs and Tianjin Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs; and the Shanxi Innovation and Entrepreneurship Association of Returned Overseas Chinese and Tianjian Federation of Young Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs, was held.
Wang Jinren, an official of the Shanxi Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, expressed hope that through the event, overseas Chinese will be able to strengthen their understanding of Hongtong and Shanxi and carry out exchanges and cooperation with Shanxi in more fields.
