Nansha to hold series of events to attract global talents

Nansha held a talent promotion event from March 8 to 10, which attracted 35 doctoral students from Hong Kong and Macao to seek career development opportunities.

Four more such promotional events are planned to be held in Nansha this year. The purpose is to help the district attract more global talents by inviting them to take part in various symposiums and trips.

Nansha plans to build a talent service system with favorable policies to promote the deep integration of talent, innovation and industry chains. The system will ensure Nansha's all-round talent development, thus providing strong support for the district's high-quality development.

Nansha has now built 11 youth innovation bases including Innovation Bay, and has gathered more than 300 youth innovation teams from Hong Kong and Macao, to establish an environment conducive to cultivating and retaining innovative and entrepreneurial talents.

In the past three years, about 170 postdoctoral students have enrolled to work in Nansha, over half of whom chose to settle in the district.
