Pudong makes living easy for talents

Inns for talents in Pudong were officially opened at the 2022 Pudong International Talent Hub Forum, which was held on Dec 7. Talents hinting for jobs or starting businesses can benefit from the convenience provided by the inns.

Pudong has been sticking to a talent-driven mode of development, and to attract more talents, Pudong has been optimizing its policies and services. To become a leading district in technological innovation and economic growth, Pudong needs talents more than ever and its talent attraction packages have been upgraded.

Two types of talents are qualified to register: overseas returnees who work in key industries and experienced talents who studied and worked abroad. The inns provide a great variety of services, including staying in apartments for seven to 14 days free of charge and policy consultation services.

Qualified talents can apply online, and after arriving in Shanghai, cars will pick them up at the airport and drive them straight to the inns, which are equipped with a refrigerator, air conditioner and washing machine.

Apart from well-equipped rooms, the inns also provide a cozy environment for talents to spend their leisure time. There are restaurants that offer various cuisines, convenience stores, coffee houses and abundant parking spaces in the neighborhood.
