China Yangling Agricultural High-Tech Fair

The 29th China Yangling Agricultural High-Tech Fair was held in the Yangling Demonstration Area of Shaanxi province on Sept 15-19.

The China Yangling Agricultural High-Tech Fair was founded in 1994. Approved by the State Council, it became a national-level fair in October 1999.

Since its establishment, the fair has attracted tens of thousands of agriculture-related enterprises and science and education units from thirty-four provinces and cities across the country and from more than seventy countries and regions including Australia, Canada, and Israel.

More than 30 million merchants and visitors have attended the fair, where over 180,000 projects and products have been signed and showcased, promoting a total investment and transaction volume of over 1 trillion yuan (about $140.97billion).

In recent years, the fair has become an agricultural science and technology event and an important platform for showcasing the agricultural science and technology achievements in the country and promoting international cooperation and exchanges for agricultural science and technology. It is known as the "Olympic event of Chinese agriculture".

With the increasing influence of the fair, its brand value has reached 87.119 billion yuan.

The 2022 China Yangling Agricultural High-Tech Fair has yielded fruitful results in international trade and investment. Online and offline transactions volume reached 487 million yuan. The 49 projects signed on site are valued at29.508 billion yuan, and the 289 inked off-site projects have a total value of 69.35 billion yuan.
