Working overseas for many years, Chen Ailin, the heroine, comes back home due to the sudden death of her father and finds her family house, Jiazi Garden, has turned into a charitable nursing home. She plans to sell the estate, egged on by her boyfriend who is a real estate agent. It triggers a series of intense conflicts and the old people are all against her. The play also reflects various social problems such as nursing services and housing issues as well as contradictions between different values.
