The Sanxingdui Archaeology International Communication website is hosted by the Sichuan Cultural Relics and Archaeology Research Institute.

In the future, the latest archaeological discoveries from the Sanxingdui ruins — along with authoritative and in-depth interpretations of unearthed relics, Chinese-English bilingual academic papers and an online cloud exhibition to provide digital cultural relics immersion — will all be presented here for the first time, said the institute's president, Tang Fei.

The Sanxingdui ruins in Guanghan, Sichuan, are seen as among the most important archaeological finds of the 20th century in China.

Located on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, the site serves as proof that the origins of Chinese civilization are diverse. The ruins dispel theories that the Yellow River was the sole starting point of Chinese civilization.
