The 9th China (Shenzhen) International IP Licensing Industry Expo will be held from Feb 28 to March 2 in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in Shenzhen, Guangdong province.

The China (Shenzhen) International IP Licensing Industry Expo (CIPE Shenzhen Licensing Exhibition), founded in 2013, has been committed to promoting effective docking and cross cooperation between traditional enterprises and IP copyright owners. It has become the largest and most active trading platform in South China, and the most recognized professional authorization and derivatives trading platform by exhibitors.

With the in-depth development of economic globalization and the knowledge-based economy, copyright has become an important production factor and wealth resource, playing a critical role in promoting economic development. According to the 2020 Global Licensing Market Report, global sales of licensed goods and services grew to $292.8 billion in 2019, a 4.5 percent increase from $283.0 billion in 2018 and the highest level in the past six years. Although the growth rate of China's licensing market is higher than that of other developed countries in Europe and America, and its scale ranks fifth in the world after the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan and Germany, it only accounts for 3.6 percent of the global market share.

Under the guidance of the Copyright Protection Center of China and China (Shenzhen) Intellectual Property Protection Center, the CIPE Shenzhen Licensing Exhibition is co-hosted by China Copyright magazine, China Copyright Agency of China and Shenzhen Qianyu Exhibition Group Co., Ltd., and is co-organized by the Shenzhen Original Art Association, Guangzhou Creative Industry Association and Foshan Copyright Protection Association and 22 other associations.

The 8th CIPE Shenzhen Licensing Exhibition held in 2020 featured over 600 exhibitors and over 1,000 popular IPs. The number of domestic and foreign professional visitors reached 48,683, an increase of 16.3% compared with 41,634 visitors in 2019.

The 9th CIPE Shenzhen Licensing Exhibition will be held concurrently with the International Digital Expo on Culture and Tourism (Shenzhen) and Shenzhen Cross-border E-commerce Exhibition from February 28 to March 2, 2022.
