Yantai, Hainan cooperate in marine economy

The Yantai Area of China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone signed a cooperation agreement with Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City in Sanya, Hainan province on Aug 31.
According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in the introduction and breeding of marine germplasm resources.
The Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City is one of the 11 important parks Hainan Free Trade Port. Yantai area of the Shandong FTZ has great potential in developing marine seed industry and has five national aquatic farms.
The two sides will promote the upgrading of the marine fishery industry and promote the high-end development of deepen the transformation of the equipment manufacturing industry.
