China International Digital Economy Expo

The 2021 China International Digital Economy Expo was held from Sept 6 to 8, 2021 in Shijiazhuang, North China’s Hebei province.

The China International Digital Economic Expo (CIDEE) is a national-level exhibition held once a year. The exhibition is sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Government of Hebei province, and jointly undertaken by 11 entities, including the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, China International Electronic Commerce Center, Hebei Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Hebei Provincial Internet Information Office, Hebei Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce, Hebei Communications Administration.

With the theme "Innovative Development and Digital Economy", the 2021 CIDEE featured theme summits, forums, theme activities, comprehensive exhibitions, business matching, on-site experience, and competitions using online and offline simultaneous interaction.  It focused on current topics such as 5G+ industrial Internet, new infrastructure and smart cities, digital economy featuring peak carbon and carbon neutrality, rural revitalization, "unicorn" companies, digital finance, new generation AI, quantum information, blockchain, AR and VR digital economy innovation and development.
